St John Ambulance Victoria invites volunteers, staff, family and friends to participate in the exciting program of the National Conference 2010 - to be held at the Sebel Albert Park.
Conference Theme
Shifting community expectations, changing roles in volunteering and an ever changing face of St John has bought about much evolution over recent times. From emerging colours to 'unifying colours', it is time to ensure the sustainability of an integrated organisation.
'Unifying the colours' is the theme for Melbourne 2010, which will explore the integration of whole of business activities moving towards One St John. This will provide opportunities for volunteers and career networks to interact through various program streams relevant to community activities, volunteer management, training, clinical programs as well as event and disaster management.
In conjunction with the conference program, the marketing team are currently working to ensure there is something for everyone. Family and friends are encouraged to take advantage of the opportunity to relax and enjoy the wonderful attractions of Melbourne.
Conference Venue
The Sebel Albert Park Melbourne, a newly refurbished 4.5-star conference and event centre is located on the banks of the picturesque Albert Park Lake (home to the Australian Formula One race track) with the sweeping views over the Lake and Port Phillip Bay. It is only minutes from Melbourne City Centre, major shopping precincts including St Kilda Road, Chapel Street and Toorak Road shopping, and the famous St Kilda beaches.
